 Spinach Dhal(Palakura Pappu)


Ingredients 

Yellow Splits Beans (toor dal) 2 cup

Split Chickpea Lentils (chana dal) 1 cup

Spinach 1 big cup 

Turmeric powder 1tsp

Chilli Powder 1tbsp

Salt 1/2tbsp l

Green Chilli’s 2

Chopped Onions 1/2 cup

Mint and Coriander 1/2 cup

Tamarind Paste 2tbsp

For Tadka

Rai and jeera 1 tsp

Dry Red Chilli’s 2

Green Chilli’s  2

Curry Leaves 2sticks

Oil 2tbsp

Method 

Wash toor dal and chana dal properly add into pressure cooker.

Add 3 cups of water into pressure cooker .

Now add spinach ,turmeric powder , chilli powder , salt , green chilli’s , chopped onions , mint and coriander leaves , tamarind paste into pressure cooker and cover it with cooker lid keep it on high flame for 6 to 7 vessels and keep it side for cool down.

Now take out the cooker lid and take a masher and mash it properly.

Now for tadka .

Take tadka pan and add oil heat it up .

Now dry red chilli’s , curry leaves , slit green chilli’s  fry it and add into dal.

Spinach dal is ready
