 Tomato rice . 

tomatoes are extremely good for health and  tomatoes are a powerful anitioxidants and super rich vitamin c and tomatoes are good for our heart .
imagine a life without tomatoes ...impossible . life without tomatoes is like rainy season without rains ... in indian recipes the one vegetable that goes and fits anyof it is tomato . so let me share my tomato rice recipe . i hope that you all fell in love with tomatoes . 

Ingredients:

Tomatoes 1/2kg

onion - medium size 1 

greenchillis -5

curry leaves 

mint leaves 

cooriander leaves 

chilli powder-1tbsp 

turmeric -1/2 tsp 

salt - 1 tsp 

gingergarlic paste - 1tsp 

oil - 50ml 

rice -2 cups

water .

Whole garam masala :

sahijeera - 1/2 spoon 

cinnamon sticks - 4 small

cardomom- 2 or 3 

cloves - 6 to 9 

bay leaf -3 

stone flower - 1 small 

Method:

take a bowl and add oil into it , keep on medium flame .

and whole garam masalas into it . and fry it for 3 mins .

add sliced onions , chopped greenchillis and fry it upto 5 mins . add curry leaves and add gingergralic paste and saute it for 2 mins .

now add chopped tomatoes into it and cover it with a lid and cook it for 10 mins.

mix well and add chilli powder and turmeric powder . fry it properly and than add 3 1/2 cups water and boil it and add salt , cooriander and mint leaves . 

after boiling add two cups of rice . cook it on a high flame for 5 mins and cover it with lid on slow flame 3 or 4 mins .

and tomato rice is ready , serve it with curd .
