VEGAN BIRIYANI
INGREDIENTS :-
- basmathi rice - 5 cups
- diced potato - 5
- sliced onions - 2
- coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
- mint leaves - 1/2 cup
- green chillies -8
- medium tomatoes - 1
- whole garam masala - 1tbsp
- lemon juice - 4 tsp
- oil - 100ml
- water
- ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- chilli powder - 1tbsp
- turmeric powder - 1/2tsp
METHOD :-
- take a kadai add oil and deep fry onions in it until it is gloden brown in colour and take it a side .
- now fry sdiced potato's .
- now blend fried onions , tomatoes unseeded and green chillies into smooth paste .
- now soak basmathi rice in warm water bowl for 30mins .
- now take biryani handi add fried potatoes , add biryani masala , chilli powder , turmeric powder , lemon juice , ginger garlic paste , salt , add the onion chilli paste we maded , coriander , mint leaves .
- now mix the whole thing .
- now bowl the soaked rice with added whole garam masala , lemon juice and oil .
- now add 30% cooked rice as 1st layer
- next add 50% cooked rice as 2nd layer
- next add 70% cooked rice as 3rd layer
- now add coriander leaves , fried onions on the top most layers and kesar colour .
- cover it with a lid(air should not escape formr the handi ) and DUM it for 15mins .
SERVE IT IN A PALTE WITH MIRCHI KA SALAN AND ONIONS .
