vegetable fish curry . recipe
vegetarian fish curry also know as besan cake curry ...
one of the famous telangana recipe . many of them say that whats there in veg to eat . than say them there are many cuisines and one of it is vegetarian fish curry . you might think i said veg and i also said fish how it can happen , yes it can happen ... and that is besan cake curry , it is excatly like fish curry . so lets start cooking,
ingredients for rosted masala :
peanut -25 g
coriander-1 1/2 tbsp
jeera-1tbsp
coconut-50g
elachi-2
clove-4
sesame seeds -50g
cinnamon stick -1big one
onion - 1
how to make rosted masala :
take a bowl or pan , keep on the stove on a low flame , add onion, peanut ,coriander , jeera , coconut ,elachi , clove ,cinnamon stick and sesame seeds . roste them well and keep it aside and cool it . take a blender and add all rosted masala into and blend it smoothly .
now roasted masala is ready , keep it aside .
ingredients for besan cake :
besan -1 cup
jeera - 1/2 tsp
mustard - 1/2 tsp
chilli powder-1 tbsp
gingergralic paste -1/2 tbsp
haldi-1/2 tsp
salt -1/2 tsp
rosted masala - 1 tbsp
oil - 1 tbsp
how to make besan cake :
take a bowl or pan keep it on the low flame. add oil into it . jeera and mustard , to it saute for 30 to 40 sec. add gingergralic paste , saute untill the armo start coming from it . now add chilli powder , salt , haldi and add rosted masala into it .
now add 1 cup of water into the pan . when it start boiling , (take a small bowl add besan to it add water slowly and make besan paste or liquid ) now , add besan paste into pan , mix continuously .( besan should be cooked on low flame and it should not stick to the stove ) make sure that lumps shouldnt be formed .
now take plate and apply the oil to it and add besan mixture to plate . spread it all over the plate . let it cool down , then cut it into the small piece as your wish . ( i prefer diamond shape always ).

oil-2tbsp
bay leaf -2
gingergarlic paste -1/2 tsp
chilli powder -2tbsp
tamarindjuice -1/2 cup
salt - 1/2 tsp
haldi powder -1/2 tsp
roasted masala -completely
chilli - 2
how to make vegetarian fish curry:
take a pan and add oil into it (make sure flame should be on medium ) now add bay leaf ,chilli, gingergarlic paste and saute for 30 to 40 sec , and add chilli powder , haldi and add masala to it and mix it well .
when masala start leaving oil , add tamarind and water to it and mix well .cook for 10 to 15 mins .
when it start boling continously cook for 5 mins and add besan fish to it and cover it with lid . and vegetarian fish curry is ready .
serve it with bagara rice or white rice :)
