TOMATO PAPPU

 INGREDIENTS 

Pigeon pea 1cup

Tomato 4

Chilli powder 1/4

Haldi 1/4

Salt 1/2 

Green chilli’s 4

Curry Leaves 1

Coriander leaves 1

Ginger Garlic paste 1/2

For Tadka

Jeera and rai1/2

Dry red chillies 2

Curry leaves 1

Method 

 Take a pressure cooker add pigeon gram add to cooker and wash Pappu  add water to it

 Add chopped tomatoes ,chilli powder  ,Haldi cutted green chilli ,curry leaves, coriander leaves .

 Add ginger garlic paste to it cover it with cooker lid  keep on a medium flame up to 3 whistles 

 After 3 whistles keep it a side for cool down 

Take out the lid and mash it with masher keep it a side 

Now take tadka pan and heat oil

Add rai , jeera , dry red chillies , and curry leaves and fry it well and add into the mashed dhal and mix it properly.


Serve it in bowl
