Sago kheer also know as  pudding, payasam and sabudana kheer . 
Sago kheer also helpful for weight gain . Firstly sago is cooked separately and than added to milk . 
Sago is good for health , weight gain , it is good source of energy, easy to digest and prevents constipation.
Sago have rich source of carbohydrates and cooling effects on body . 
Sago kheer so easy to make and tasty sweet . 
Ingredients: 
Sago - 1 small cup 
Milk - 1/2 lt 
Ghee roasted Vermicelli- 2 tbsp 
Sugar- half cup 
Cashew nuts -4 
Almonds -4 chopped 
Cardamom - 2 
Saffron - 1 pinch or else food colour 
Chironji  - 1 tbsp 
Watermelon seeds - 1 tbsp 
Water for boiling sago . 

Method: 
Soak sago in water for 1 hr . 
Take 2 or 3 cups of water according as you wish if you want thicker sago take 2 cups of after . If you want liquid type sago add 3 cups of water . 
Take a bowl add water . When water starts boiling add sago into it . Mix it simultaneously and cook it for 10 mins .now add vermicelli and cook for 2 mins .  When sago becomes  jelly that means it is Cooked. Now add sugar , cardamom powder , saffron mix it properly. When sugar melts put off the flame . 
Take a bowl and boil 1/2 lt milk until in turns 1/4 . 
Now add boiled milk into cooked sago . Add ghee roasted cashew, almonds , watermelon seeds and chironji  . 
Now sago kheer is ready . It’s that simple to make sago kheer.  
Serve it with hot puri . 
You can also freeze and serve cool kheer accordingly.
