Yellow cucumber chutney.

 Yellow cucumber chutney ……authentic dish of South India .At South Indian weddings , family functions, or house warming ceremony,  What ever the occasion is yellow cucumber chutney should be must . This chutney tastes awesome with rice , chapatis, idly , dosa  . 

Ingredients: 

Yellow cucumber - 1 

Green chilli’s -4 

Red chillies -4 

Jeera  - 1 tbsp 

Gralic - 6 cloves 

Curry leaves- 1 stick 

Haldi - 1/2 tsp 

Salt - 1/2 tsp ( according to your taste ) 

Oil - 1 tsp 

Coriander leafs and stems - 1/4 cup 

Tamarind - lemon size 

Method : 

Firstly peel of the yellow cucumber skin and cut , remove seed . 

Take a pan add green chilli, red chilli , yellow cucumber chopped , jeera , garlic , curry leaves, Haldi , salt , oil , coriander and tamarind .

Put the pan on medium flame . Cover it with lid . Cook for 5 mins . 

Now , cool it down and take it into mixer jar and mix it well . 

Ingredients for tadka :

Oil - 1/2 tbsp 

Curry leaves - 1 stick 

Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp 

Urad dal 1/4 tsp 

Chana dal -1/4 tsp 

Red chillies - 2 

Method:

Take tadka pan , add oil heat it up  now add mustard seeds , urad dal, chana dal ,curry leaves and red chillies . Fry it properly and add Tadka into chutney. 

And now , serve it with rice and some ghee on it.
