Bendakaya Fry Recipe

Bendakaya Fry Recipe is a popular recipe typically served in Telugu marriages and functions as part of the elaborate banana leaf meal. It is golden, crispy and really delicious fry that is deep-fried and then tempered with deep-fried peanuts, red chilli powder and coriander leaves. It tastes just as good served as a snack.

Ingredients :

1.Bendakaya 1/2kg

2.Peanuts 100gms

3.Red Chilli Powder 1tsp

4.Turmeric Powder 1/4tsp

5.Salt 1/2tsp

6.Coriander Powder 1tsp

7.Oil For Deep-Fried

8.Coriander Leaves For Serveing

Method :

1.Wash bendakaya and cut them into the pieces.

2.Take a pan and add oil into pan heat it up in high flame.

3.When oil is heat add bendakaya into the oil and deep fry it then remove bendakaya from     oil and place it on tissue paper.

4.Take small bowl and add 1tsp red chilli powder ,1/4tsp turmeric powder ,1tsp coriander powder ,1/2tsp salt mix it then topping masala is ready.

5.In same oil add 100gms peanuts and deep fried and take it on tissuse paper.

6.Take bowl and add deep fried bendakaya and peanuts into bowl and add masala from top and mix it up and serve it coriander leaves .

 Bendakaya fry is ready
